
Liquid Jaggery, locally known as Pania Guda, is a traditional cane sweetener prepared by boiling freshly extracted sugarcane juice until it reaches a thick, pourable consistency. Unlike solid jaggery, it is not allowed to crystallise fully, resulting in a liquid form used widely in regional food preparations.
This Pania Guda is produced in Bhadrak, Odisha, where jaggery-making is a long-standing household and community practice.
